Job summary

You will operate safe, well-maintained trucks on regional routes with 26' box trucks or sleepers and dry van trailers. The position emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Detect and mitigate safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by the customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
