Job summary

Super-Sod is seeking a Class A CDL driver to transport seed, sod, and soil to customers in a regional operating model. The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and strong customer service, with opportunities to grow within a long-standing turfgrass supplier.

The position requires a clean driving record, DOT/OSHA certifications, and the ability to work varying hours in all weather. Benefits for qualifying full-time staff are available.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of commercial truck driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in 3 years.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Class A CDL and Medical Card required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to support shipping and receiving.
• Deliver, pickup, and reposition farm products and materials.
• Perform pre-, during-, and post-operation maintenance and reporting.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain certifications per DOT and OSHA and safety programs.
• Manage conditions of vehicles and work area to protect property.
• Assist in other tasks to support team operations.
