Job summary

Smith Turf & Irrigation LLC is seeking a professional Class A driver to deliver equipment to customers across regional routes. You will maintain compliance with DOT rules, load and unload products, and ensure timely, courteous service at customer sites.

The role requires minimum 2 years of Class A driving in the last five years, strong safety focus, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Eligibility for background/MVR checks and drug testing is expected.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of Class A driving within the last five years.
• Willingness to maintain safety policies and DOT compliance.
• Strong orientation to customer service and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment to customers, ensuring prompt, professional service.
• Perform interstate/intrastate deliveries and pickups as required.
• Load and unload products safely for delivery.
• Inspect vehicles, perform pre/post-trip checks, report issues.
• Maintain records for DOT hours, E-logs, and rest breaks as required.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements at all times.
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.
• Complete annual training and stay compliant with regulations.
• Follow traffic laws and report any incidents.
