ERM is seeking a Regional Chief Financial Officer (RCFO) in North America. The role reports to the Global Chief Financial Officer and is accountable to the Regional CEO (RCEO) for North America. The RCFO will be a key part of the NA strategic and operational leadership, overseeing all aspects of finance including financial planning, accounting, controls, treasury, tax strategy, and transformation. Leading a large, dispersed team, the RCFO will drive the ongoing transformation of the finance organization in line with global initiatives. This role will contribute significantly to the global finance organization, shaping and advancing strategic goals, and representing the region’s interests as a core member of the global CFO leadership team.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to the RCEO and NA leadership, helping develop the financial plan annually. While primary responsibilities are financial, success also depends on strong business acumen, leadership, judgment, and management experience.

Key responsibilities will include:
  1. Business Management – Establish a unified finance team, elevate finance as a strategic partner, collaborate with leadership to drive accountability, identify opportunities, implement initiatives, and lead regional performance reviews.
  2. Operational Financial Management & Control – Lead financial planning and control processes, ensure cost discipline, improve business intelligence, and develop plans to enhance working capital.
  3. Finance Transformation – Drive efficiency through KPIs, automation, ERP upgrades, and global process projects.
  4. M&A – Lead M&A transactions from due diligence to integration.
  5. Management – Lead and develop the NA team, foster remote collaboration, challenge the status quo, and enhance business partnership.

The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in complex US organizations, some Canada experience, and a track record of driving regional change and transformation. Experience in professional services or private equity-backed environments is preferred, along with M&A expertise. The candidate should be adept at managing cross-geography finance functions, understanding jurisdictional issues, and operating with high integrity and professionalism.
