Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Regional Category Manager to lead chemical sourcing and procurement strategies in the region. You will drive supplier performance, negotiate cost efficiencies, ensure supply continuity, and support sustainability goals across Water Tech.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, deep chemical market knowledge, and the ability to work in a matrixed, multicultural environment with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

Five years+ experience in procurement or supply chain with KPI delivery.
Experience negotiating with chemical suppliers, preferably in water treatment.
Strong technical expertise in chemical sourcing and supplier management.

Responsibilities

Develop end-to-end sourcing strategies for chemical categories and raw materials.
Lead supplier negotiations, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
Analyze total cost of ownership and market intelligence for decisions.
Collaborate with Quality, Technical, EHS, operations, and logistics teams.
Drive year-over-year savings through bidding and value engineering.
