Job summary

Trucking Group UTAH is seeking a CDL-A Local Retail Driver to haul palletized retail freight on predictable routes within a 250-mile radius. Enjoy home daily, consecutive days off, no-touch freight, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Expect approximately 1,700 miles per week, Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday schedules, and start times around midnight. Day cab with a 53' dry van, with weekends off optional, and paid holidays after one year.

Qualifications

• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
• Minimum 22 years old.
• Must meet DOT Clearinghouse requirements.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for safe driving and required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletized retail freight within a 250-mile radius.
• Handle 1-2 loads per day with 1-3 stops per load.
• Backhauls and live load/unload, drop-and-hook as applicable.
• Operate day cab with 53' dry van trailer.
• Home daily with Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday shifts.

Pay Details

$80,000+ average annual pay

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,500
• $0.69 per mile
• $21.50 per stop
• Premium pay for city stops
• $2,500 sign-on bonus

Job Requirements

• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• Minimum 22 years old
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• Must meet DOT Clearinghouse requirements
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for safe driving and required documentation
