Job Description

Position Summary: This role ensures proper pickup and delivery of Tyson products. The driver must reside in a designated hiring area and be willing to operate across all 48 states, including varied hours and night shifts. Delivery locations include Tyson and customer sites, adhering to all regulations in Section 391.11 of the FMCSA Regulations Book.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Must employ safe lifting techniques, regularly open trailer doors, operate landing gear, and perform tasks on various surfaces and environments, including wet, slippery, hot, or cold conditions. Use of personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, reflective vests, and closed-toe shoes is required. Safety policies must be followed diligently, with training provided to recognize and mitigate risks.

Job Requirements: Must pass DOT urine and hair follicle tests. Minimum qualifications include:

• Verifiable CDL A Tractor Trailer experience: 9 months in the last 12 months or 12 months in the last 3 years.
• No preventable accidents or DUI/DWI/OUI convictions in specified periods.
• No positive DOT drug/alcohol tests in the last 3 years.
• Maximum of 8 jobs in the last 3 years and no more than 3 terminations from Tyson Foods.

Pay and Benefits: Weekly pay ranges from $1,000 to $1,800.
