REGIONAL CDL TYSON FOODS Truck Driver IN

Join Tyson Foods as a Regional CDL Truck Driver in Indiana.

Job Overview

This role involves ensuring the proper pickup and delivery of Tyson products across all 48 states. Drivers must reside within a designated hiring area and be willing to operate on various schedules, including nights and weekends. Deliveries will be made to Tyson locations and customer sites according to specified requirements. Compliance with all FMCSA regulations, especially Section 391.11, is mandatory.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Use safe lifting techniques; regularly open trailer doors, operate landing gear, and check vehicle components.
  • Stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, balance, stoop, and communicate effectively.
  • Visual abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with focus adjustment.
  • Work conditions may include wet, slippery, hot, dry, dusty, and cold environments.
Safety and PPE
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate safety risks.
  • Wear PPE such as hearing protection, reflective vests, and closed-toe shoes as required.
Job Requirements
  • Pass DOT urine and hair follicle tests.
  • Minimum of 9 months CDL tractor-trailer experience in the last year or 12 months in the last three years.
  • No recent preventable accidents involving fatalities or rollovers.
  • No recent DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions or positive DOT drug/alcohol tests in specified periods.
  • Maximum of 8 recent driving jobs and up to 3 terminations from Tyson Foods.
Compensation and Benefits

Weekly pay ranges from $1,000 to $1,800. Benefits include:
