Job Description
Position Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring proper pickup and delivery of Tyson products. Driver must live in a defined hiring area. Must be willing to run all 48 states and drive various hours and days of the night. Need to be able to deliver to all Tyson Locations and Tyson Customer Locations per their requirements. Drivers must be compliant with all regulations stated in Section 391.11 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations Book. Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical: Must use safe lifting techniques. Regularly open a CMV's hood, open/shut trailer doors, and operate landing gear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand (concrete floor); walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to recognize audible alerts from industrial power equipment and commercial vehicles. Environment: Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments. Personal Protective Equipment Required: Hearing protection will be used as needed. Reflective vests and closed-toed shoes will be worn when outside of your truck. Safety: TM is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures. TM is expected to identify, address and mitigate safety-related risks. Will be trained to recognize and comply with all safety procedures.

Job Requirements
Applicant must pass a DOT urine test and hair follicle test.Company Long Haul Division Driver Minimum Qualifications Verifiable CDL A Tractor Trailer experience o 9 months within the last 12 months, or 12 months within the last 3 years. MVR, SPHR, and PSP will be utilized for a 3-year driving history. No preventable accidents resulting in a fatality, or rollover within the last 3 years No DUI, DWI, or OUI conviction occurring in a commercial motor vehicle No DUI, DWI, or OUI conviction occurring in the previous 8 years No positive test on any DOT drug or alcohol test, including refusal to test, in the last 3 years Cannot exceed 8 driving jobs in the last 3 years Maximum of 3 terminations of employment from Tyson Foods, Inc
