Job summary

Zep Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to manage regional routes, deliver to customer locations, and maintain equipment and safety standards. You will communicate with customers and ensure timely delivery of materials in all weather conditions.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 3+ years driving, 1+ year tanker experience, ability to lift 50–75 lbs, and a valid Tank/HazMat CDL. You must be ready to work varied hours, including nights away from home, and comply with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years driving experience.
• Minimum 1 year tanker experience.
• Must be able to lift, pull, drag and carry 50-75 lbs.
• Current CDL with Tank/HazMat endorsements.
• Subject to Random Drug/Alcohol Testing.
• Ability to work various hours including nights away from home.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck deliver product to customer locations. This includes driving hours and total of 14 hours on duty when required in all weather conditions.
• Manage proof of delivery paperwork from customers.
• Assist workers in loading and unloading trucks.
• Check mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
• Maintain knowledge of hauling of hazardous materials and adhere to DOT rules and regulations.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested.
