BVS has an immediate opening for a full-time Class A CDL - Hazmat Truck Driver to serve regionally in Arkansas and surrounding areas. This role involves delivering orders to BVS customers, mainly within a local/regional scope for interstate commerce.

Benefits:

• Base Wage + Mileage Rate: In addition to base pay, drivers earn a mileage rate to incentivize going the extra mile, ensuring compensation even during delays.
• Time at Home: Typical regional drivers are out overnight up to once per week and are home every weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a semi-truck safely, transporting products/backhauls in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Deliver products daily to customer locations, with occasional overnight travel.
• Interact professionally and positively with customers, inquiring about their needs during deliveries.
• Represent BVS professionally and ethically.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager for scheduling deliveries and routes.
• Ensure vehicle contents are properly packed, strapped, and compliant with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Perform safety checks before and after trips, including inspections of the tractor, trailer, and related equipment, reporting issues as needed.
• Maintain and submit all required paperwork, including signed invoices, bills of lading, and hazardous materials documentation.
• Work with the Transportation Manager on routine vehicle maintenance and report malfunctions.
• Use electronic driver log systems properly.
• Load and unload products safely.
• Maintain positive relationships with warehouse staff and customers.
• Perform backhauls as needed and other duties as assigned.
