Job summary

Ruan is hiring Regional CDL Flex drivers for our fleet based in Chicago, IL. These drivers travel to various customers across the United States to provide coverage, with weekly pay and a guaranteed 50 hours per week at $40/hour plus $25 per diem when traveling.

Expect to be out for extended periods, support last-minute route coverage, and train new hires. Hazmat endorsement is required or pursued on hire; forklift experience is a plus. Real ID or passport may be needed for travel.

Qualifications

• Must have Hazmat endorsement or be willing to obtain before hire.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with the public and drivers.
• Forklift experience is a plus and training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various customers and operations around the United States to cover routes.
• Cover last-minute call-offs and open routes; assist with dock work when required.
• Complete road tests and training for new hires; driver may be out up to 5 weeks at a time with 1 week at home.
