Job summary

Ruan Transportation Management Systems is hiring Regional CDL Flex Drivers for our fleet in Grand Rapids, MI. These drivers travel to diverse customers and operations across the United States to provide coverage wherever needed.

Compensation includes $40 per hour with a guaranteed 50 hours per week and $25 per diem when traveling. Hazmat endorsement is required (or obtained before hire), and drivers may be out up to 5 weeks at a time with occasional dock work.

Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement required (to be obtained before hire).
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public.
• Must be able to pass a road test and training of new hires.
• Must be willing to work dock shifts when required.
• Real ID or US Passport required for traveling.

Responsibilities

• Cover last minute call offs, scheduled PTO, and open routes until a new driver is hired.
• Perform road test and training of new hires.
• Work on the dock if the route requires dock work.
• Travel to various customers and operations around the United States.
