Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Rocky Mount, VA is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for a regional route with 3-5 layovers per week and a sleeper tractor. You will operate 53' dry vans, with guaranteed pay for the first 4 weeks and weekly pay thereafter.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with endorsements
• 9 months to 5 years of tractor-trailer experience in the past 10 years
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, DOT physical, and road test

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and company policies
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Assist with loading/unloading if required
• Perform other duties as assigned
