Job summary

Amarr Company, a leading North American garage door manufacturer, is seeking a Class A Regional Truck Driver for our Concord, NC distribution center. This full-time role involves delivering to customers and Amarr Door Centers within the region, with three to five days on the road and occasional overnights.

You will load, unload, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle, maintain safety and service standards, and support warehousing tasks when not on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license and clean driving record.
• 21+ years old and able to read/speak English per DOT guidelines.
• 3–5+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Able to repeatedly lift 50–75 lb.
• Mechanically inclined and able to operate power tools.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle three to five days a week within the region (one to two overnights per week).
• Provide deliveries to customers and Amarr Door Centers in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide personal attention to customer requests or product needs.
• Perform warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all phases of operations.
• Assist with distribution center warehousing tasks and staging/assembly.
• Assist in completion of production orders if not on the road.
