Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a regional driver to safely operate a tractor-trailer with a 53’ dry van and state-of-the-art equipment.

You will execute deliveries with a focus on safety, compliance, and timely service, while adhering to Corrugated Logistics policies and FMCSA regulations. The role emphasizes home daily, thorough pre-trip inspections, proper documentation, and professional communication with Dispatch/Operations.

Qualifications

• Pre-trip inspection per FMCSA and company policies.
• Maintain driver logs electronically per FMCSA requirements.
• Communicate professionally with Dispatch/Operations and others.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a TAS with a 53’ dry van.
• Perform all duties with Corrugated Logistics policies and comply with FMCSA and local regulations.
• Complete shipping documents and ensure they accompany deliveries.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and report equipment defects.
• Keep accurate logs of hours and movements, report discrepancies to Operations.
• Drop, hook, spot, switch and interchange equipment as required.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected during transport.
• Communicate stops, movements, problems with equipment or delays to Dispatch.
• Inspect tractor and trailer for defects during and after trips and report condition.
