Job summary

Amazon Freight Partner in Woodbridge, NJ is hiring full-time Class A CDL Short Haul drivers. You will haul Amazon loads (primarily no-touch freight) using brand new Amazon-branded equipment and technology, and operate on 36-hour shifts or 5 days on/2 off.

This role offers a consistent weekly schedule with overtime and benefits. You must be at least 21, hold a Class A CDL, pass a DOT physical, and communicate proficiently in English.

Qualifications

Amazon Freight Partner

• Position – Class A CDL Short Haul / Regional Driver


• Location – Woodbridge, NJ


• Compensation – $24 – $26 / hour + Overtime + Benefits


• Schedule – Consistent Weekly Schedule (Home every 2 days – Regional OR Solo 5 days on / 2 days off)

About the Role

We are hiring full-time, motivated Class A CDL Short Haul Drivers with a clean driving record for our Amazon Freight Partner program. We are a local small business with the benefits of a large company. We haul exclusively for Amazon and are making on-the-spot job offers contingent on meeting eligibility and background check requirements.

What You’ll Do

1. Haul Amazon loads (primarily no-touch freight) using state-of-the-art Amazon-branded equipment and technology, including brand new sleeper cabs.


2. Service regional round-trip routes on 36-hour shifts (13-hour run – 10-hour break – 13-hour run) OR 5 days on with 2 consecutive days off.


3. Play an important and respected role in keeping Amazon’s commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver packages on time and at the right place.

What You’ll Need

1. Must be at least 21 years old


2. Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)


3. Must successfully pass DOT Physical


4. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records


5. No current CDL suspension or revocation


6. Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & good DAC Report


7. Must be able to use handheld technology and smartphone applications such as GPS
