Qualifications

• Class B CDL with Endorsements for Air Brakes and Hazmat; endorsements not required before employment but obtainment during probationary period.
• Literate with good communication and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Driver’s primary responsibility will include various warehouse material handling duties and some delivery and pick-ups at off-site locations.
• Schedules vary; trips may range from 1 to 3 days in length.
• Delivers and picks up freight from specified locations; verifies freight with shipping papers.
• Drives with knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazmat rules, and local driving laws.
• Inspects vehicle before/after each trip and submits a vehicle-condition report.
• Maintains Driver's Daily log per Federal regulations.
• Prepares shipping papers and interacts with customers during delivery or pickup.
• Warehouse work using material handling equipment.
