Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Nashville, TN. The role offers weekly pay, a $29.00 hourly rate, 40+ hours per week, per diem, and a $1000 yearly tenure bonus. Training is provided and schedules typically run Monday–Friday with flexibility.

Endorsements and certifications increase pay. Ryder provides comprehensive benefits after 30 days, a 401(k) with company match after 1 year, and generous PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check (last 3 years).
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Class A verifiable experience in tractor trailers: 9 months in 3 years or 2 years in 5 years or 5 years in 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
