Job summary

Ryder is hiring Regional CDL-A Truck Drivers in Harrisonburg, VA. The role offers a lucrative pay package with weekly earnings averaging $1,787, plus sign-on and loyalty bonuses, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

You will operate regionally with a sleeper tractor, no-touch freight (chicken), and a 7-day work week with two days off. Required are a valid CDL-A, 9 months of recent experience, minimum age 21, and passing Ryder and DOT checks.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A required.
• 9 months of experience within the past 3 years.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (last 3 years).
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver solo to 48 states.
• No-touch freight – chicken.

Average $1,787 per Week – Comprehensive Benefits

Pay, Home Time & More:

• Average $1,787 per week
• Solo Miles Pay: 76 CPM with 1,800 – 2,100 miles per week
• Solo Stops Pay: $17.50 per stop with 4 – 8 stops per week
• Per Diem Pay: $50 per night with 4 – 5 nights per week
• Sign-On Bonus: Pays you $1,500 at 30 days and $1,500 at 90 days
• Loyalty Bonus: Pays you $1,750 at 6 months and $1,750 at 1 year
• Route: Regional
• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days
• 80 hours PTO your first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it)

Schedule, Freight & Equipment:

• Schedule: 7-day-a-week operation with 2 consecutive days off
• 4-5 nights out
• Start time: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Deliver solo to: 48 States
• Tractor Type: Sleeper
• Trailer Type: Reefer 53′
• Freight: No-touch – chicken

Requirements:
