Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Regional Driver to ensure safe operation of company equipment and timely delivery to customers from a regional hub and various locations. This role involves substantial travel by car and air, with housing support provided.

Responsibilities include transporting products from distribution centers to customer sites, unloading up to 100 pounds, performing pre/post trip inspections, operating a TracScan unit, and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience with a Class A-CDL (with no state operating restrictions) or equivalent.
• Military driving experience.
• Touch Freight experience.
• Must be able to travel 3 weeks out of the month.

Responsibilities

• Transport products from distribution center to customer locations.
• Extensive travel by car or plane to other distribution center locations and provide support as necessary.
• Unload cased products from trailer to desired customer locations; up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections.
• Operate a TracScan unit.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
