Altom Transport in the United States (Pittsburgh area) is seeking experienced tanker drivers with a CDL Class A license to join our safety‑driven team. You will transport bulk liquid chemicals and petroleum products, adhering to DOT regulations and our strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Must hold a current X endorsement (Hazmat + Tanker).
• Tanker Endorsement (N) required; Hazmat endorsement preferred (within 90 days).
• TWIC card preferred or obtainable after hire; clean MVR and safety record.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable tanker driving experience within last 5 years.
• Must be at least 23 years old and pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials.
• Load and unload using hoses, pumps, and valves with strict safety protocols.
• Conduct and document pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate trip records, logs, and inspection reports.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers.
• Adhere to DOT, EPA, and all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Represent Altom with professionalism during customer interactions.
