Job summary

CK Transportation, Inc. seeks experienced CDL-A truck drivers for regional flatbed routes around Columbia, SC. Drivers will coordinate freight with dispatch to keep loads moving, return home weekly for resets, and haul steel, coils, pipe, lumber, machinery, and construction materials.

Expect solid weekly earnings with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. The fleet uses modern Peterbilt tractors with sleeper cabs and safety equipment.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL and current medical certification.
• Minimum 12 months of recent OTR flatbed experience or equivalent.
• Cargo securement skills and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regional freight and route planning with dispatch.
• Ensure proper load securement and equipment checks (chains, straps, tarps).
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Maintain professional driver conduct and adhere to safety standards.
