Job summary

The Driving Desk in Portland, OR is hiring Class A CDL drivers for a Western Regional flatbed fleet. New CDL graduates or seasoned drivers are welcome; the role includes paid flatbed training, consistent miles, and a path to a long-term career in specialized freight.

No flatbed experience is required initially, as drivers complete company training before transitioning into the flatbed division. Home time is approximately every two weeks with year-round freight and a 3-month pay guarantee after

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Recent CDL graduates welcome.
• Experienced drivers encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer hauling flatbed freight.
• Secure and tarp loads according to DOT and company standards.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Deliver freight safely and on schedule.
• Maintain accurate logs and DOT compliance.
