Job summary

Small Potato Trucking in Colton, CA seeks regional solo drivers with at least 3 months of experience. Yearly pay is $85,000 with weekly averages around 0.60–0.63 cpm across a lane covering AZ, CA, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, TX, UT, WA, WY, averaging ~2,600 miles weekly.

Drivers work 5 consecutive days with 2 midweek days off. Loads are prepared by 14:30 daily; expect 3–5 stops and occasional backhauls. Uniforms are provided and chaining may be required in winter conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have personal transportation and pass a drug test.
• 21 years old minimum, valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.
• Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good employment record.
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations in the last 3 years; this will be checked.
• Drug-free status required, SAP candidates are NOT accepted.
• Paid orientation upon completion and hire.

Responsibilities

• Drive 2,600 miles per week across AZ, CA, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, TX, UT, WA, WY.
• Work 5 consecutive days with 2 midweek days off; loads ready by 14:30 daily.
• Expect 3–5 stops and consider possible backhauls.
• Uniforms will be provided and chaining may be required in bad weather.
