Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to transport and deliver our windows and doors to dealers, DCs, and construction sites. The role is regional during the week with some Saturdays possible, and requires a valid CDL A with a clean driving record and at least 2 years of experience.

The position emphasizes safe driving, customer service, and ability to read maps and packing lists, with on-board computer system experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Have an acceptable accident and moving violation MVR.
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 acceptable).
• Ability to read, write and perform simple math and interpret maps/road signs.
• Ability to follow instructions via on-board computer, phone and email.
• Working knowledge of handheld devices and scanning is a plus.
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver windows and doors to dealers, distribution centers and job sites.
• Safely load and unload products; handle windows and doors.
• Perform lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying of varying weights.
• Drive truck following Federal regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain logs and required records under state/federal rules.
• Answer questions about packing lists, invoices, and packaging.
