Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for Kalamazoo, MI. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and a driving career with strong safety and support systems.

Expect 60+ hours per week on regional routes with day cab tractors and reefer trailers. Compensation includes $1,800+ weekly average, per diem, and sign-on bonuses at 30 and 90 days, plus quarterly safety bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain logs and records accurately.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
