Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Aurora, CO. The role features weekly pay, benefits after 30 days, and a driver-friendly schedule with a 5:00 AM start. Expect 45–50 hours per week, 31.40/hour pay, per diem, and out-of-town nights with hotel accommodations.

Training is provided and a strong safety culture is emphasized. Equipment includes Day Cab tractors, 30' Pup and 26' straight trucks, with necessary gear like hand trucks, lift gates, and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years in last 5 years, OR 5 years in last 10 years.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions and read applicable laws and procedures.
• Pass Ryder drug, background, and DOT physical checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and company standards.
• Detect and mitigate safety hazards and maintain logs/records accurately.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
