Job summary

American Driver in the Kansas City region is seeking CDL-A drivers for a dedicated regional account. Pay is experience-based with weekly earnings around $1,400–$1,500 and a guaranteed pay plan for the first 3 months after solo dispatch.

Freight is consistent, mostly drop and hook, with home time weekly and a 34-hour restart. We offer paid training for new CDL-A holders, plus benefits after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• New CDL-A holders welcome; 4–6 weeks paid training with guaranteed weekly pay of $850.
• Minimum 120 hours at an accredited CDL training school completed.
• 6 months OTR in last 12 months, or 12+ months in past 5 years.
• Must be at least 21 with a valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record: ≤2 moving violations in 2 years; no major accidents in 5 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• Military experience considered with a valid DD214.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dedicated regional account with consistent dispatch and planning.
• Deliver mostly drop and hook freight, with some live load/unload and preload.
• Maintain weekly mileage around 2,000–2,300 miles.
• Weekly home time with a 34-hour restart; weekend work and holidays may be required.
