Job summary

American Driver, based in Kansas City region, seeks CDL-A drivers for a dedicated regional account. Weekly earnings range from $1,400 to $1,500, with guaranteed pay during the first 3 months after solo dispatch and a driver performance bonus.

Home time is weekly with a 34-hour restart, and weekend work is required. New CDL-A holders are welcomed into a paid 4–6 week training program, with guaranteed weekly training pay of $850 and immediate transition to solo pay after completion.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• Minimum age 21, valid state CDL.
• OTR experience: 6 months in last 12 months or 12+ months in past 5 years.
• Military experience considered with DD214.
• Clean driving record: no major accidents in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on regional routes.
• Follow dispatcher plans and maintain delivery schedules.
• Record hours and mileage in logs; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with planners; report issues promptly.
