Job summary

TransForce is seeking CDL-A Short-Haul Drivers to support regional transportation operations across South Central Pennsylvania and surrounding states. This role offers $30 per hour with 12–14 hour shifts, five days per week, and 100% no-touch, drop-and-hook freight.

Start times vary between 12:00 AM and 4:00 AM, with weekend availability preferred. Applicants must have at least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience, a clean MVR, and meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements; temp-to-hire is

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to work weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer on short-haul routes.
• Deliver freight throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding service areas.
• Pick up return loads when assigned.
• Chock and properly secure trailers.
• Sweep trailers as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and communicate effectively with dispatch.
