Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Commercial Truck Driver (CDL-A) for a regional route. You will operate a Class A vehicle, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure timely, safe deliveries while maintaining vehicle and delivery records. Strong DS compliance and customer service are essential.

Candidates must have a valid CDL, at least 2 years of Class A driving experience, and the ability to work across regions under FMCSA/DOT rules. This role may involve varying shifts and overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass road test and hold valid CDL.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Safely load, transport, and unload goods according to delivery schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle for safe operation.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and hours of service.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Report incidents or delays promptly.
