Job summary

PrimeSource Building Products, Inc. is seeking a Regional Class A CDL Driver in the Kansas City area to support MO, CO, MN and TX. You will operate modern tractors on local and regional routes, with emphasis on safety and reliable service.

This role offers competitive starting pay, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, and generous time off. Travel may include overnight trips and stays within designated regions.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in local and/or regional routes.
• Transport materials using flatbeds, dry vans, doubles, or curtain side trailers.
• Properly secure loads to ensure safe transit and prevent damage.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Load and unload materials as required.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and internal teams.
• Work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require.
