Job summary

Thedrivingdesk is hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a regional intermodal position serving Ohio and Kentucky. This role offers premium pay and consistent freight, with a strong home-time package of two full days at home every week.

Drivers will be responsible for hauling rail containers and operating chassis equipment. The position requires a valid Class A CDL and at least 6 months of first-seat driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 6 months of driving experience preferred.
• Experienced first-seat drivers only; no trainees or team drivers.
• Must be comfortable working around rail yards.

Responsibilities

• Haul intermodal containers throughout Ohio and Kentucky.
• Operate rail chassis equipment.
• Move dedicated customer freight.
• Handle drop & hook, preloaded, live load, and live unload freight.

Skills

Valid Class A CDL

6 months CDL-A experience preferred

Ability to operate chassis equipment

Strong safety record
