Job summary

Safeload Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Regional Driver to run Northeast lanes along I-95 and neighboring states. Drivers operate NJ, PA, MD, NY, MA, CT, and DE with consistent miles and drop-and-hook freight, earning $0.66 per mile and a $500 new-hire transition bonus.

Weekly home time and a 34-hour reset on weekends are provided. The role includes performing pre- and post-trip inspections, dock bumping, and adherence to DOT and safety regulations while communicating with dispatch for delivery

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required and current.
• Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• Adherence to DOT, hazmat, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight on regional Northeast routes.
• Complete drop-and-hook deliveries and pick-ups.
• Perform dock bumping at customer locations.
• Complete approximately 9 stops per week.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow DOT, HazMat, and safety regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch and follow delivery instructions.
