Responsibilities

• Home weekly deliveries with a TAS and 53’ dry van.
• Safely operate a TAS with 53’ dry van.
• Perform a thorough pre-trip inspection of the equipment.
• Inspect tractor and trailer for defects and file reports.
• Safely operate tractor-trailer in various configurations and conditions.
• Drop, hook, spot, switch and interchange equipment and operate landing gear.
• Maintain shipping documentation with loads and manifests.
• Communicate dispatch/operations about stops, cargo, delays and issues.
• Report accidents, incidents, violations, and maintain logs per FMCSA and company policy.
• Complete inspection reports, bills of ladings, trip pay and mileage reports.
