Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a CDL-A Regional Dry Van Driver for deliveries across Texas and surrounding states. The role offers home weekly with a 34-hour reset, mileage-based pay plus load pay, and sleeper trucks provided.

You will handle 53-foot dry van trailer deliveries with multiple loads per week and 2–6 stops per load, often unloading freight with rollers. The position requires a valid Class A CDL, 3+ years of tractor-trailer experience, a clean driving record, and a valid DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Clean driving record
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• No SAP drivers
• Must be comfortable unloading freight with rollers
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of active delivery work

Responsibilities

• Dedicated retail deliveries using 53-foot dry van trailers
• Average of 1,600 miles per week
• Typically 2-3 loads per week, with 2-6 stops per load
• Approximately 75% of freight delivers in Texas
• Remaining deliveries in Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi
• Unload freight using rollers
• Active, hands-on delivery work
