Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a Regional CDL A Private Fleet Driver to safely operate a tractor-trailer with sleeper bunk, moving automotive parts between distribution centers and stores in a regional area. You will keep to scheduled routes and be home every weekend.

This role features no-touch freight, dedicated routes, drop and hook opportunities, and mileage-based pay. You will perform pre-trip inspections, logs via ELD, and ensure compliance with FMCSA/DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL with HAZ-MAT endorsement.
• At least 2 years of CDL experience.
• Must pass MVR check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate tablets, computers and e-logs.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver freight regionally in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner.
• Perform required inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment regularly.
• Ensure that all operations are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Accurately document and log work/rest periods in ELD.
• Safely load and unload all equipment/materials and secure loads.
• Follow manifests, bills of lading and other shipping documents to determine delivery times.
• Complete paperwork and maintain records per state and federal laws.
• Communicate with Dispatch/Operations regarding movements, delays, or problems.
