Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a CDL A Regional Driver for the Private Fleet to operate tractor-trailer units on regional routes, delivering freight safely and on time between company facilities and customer sites.

You will be home weekends with no-touch freight, dedicated routes, and paid safety training, including a quarterly safety bonus. Maintain FMCSA compliance and professional conduct on all assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 23 years.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
• Class A with Haz-MaT endorsement.
• At least 2 years of CDL experience preferred.
• 2 years clean MVR required.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Able to operate tablets, computers and ELDs.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver freight regionally for short or long distances safely and legally.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and report defects.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and FMCSA regulations.
• Document logs and hours in the ELD system and maintain records.
• Load and unload as needed and secure loads properly.
• Follow manifests, bills of lading and shipping documents for delivery timing.
• Complete paperwork including shipping and billing documents and communicate with Dispatch.
