Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics seeks a Regional CDL A Truck Driver in Atlanta to safely complete regional deliveries and maintain high service levels.

The role offers a $5,000 Sign-On & Retention Bonus for qualified drivers and requires CDL A, DOT compliance, and strong safety focus. You will operate regional routes, ensure timely freight delivery, and provide excellent customer service across various sites.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A License and DOT compliance required.
• 2+ years CDL A driving within last 4 years; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience with load securement and freight handling.
• Ability to navigate using GPS and route planning tools.
• Strong customer service and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Drives semi-tractor/trailers for up to 11 hours after 10 hours off; runs up to one week or more.
• Back-into customer docks and secure trailers.
• Maintain compliance with Federal and State safety regulations and professional driving.
• Communicate with customers in a pleasant, respectful manner.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and drivers on deliveries.
• Comply with all DOT requirements including testing.
• Secure and balance cargo inside the vehicle.
• Identify and address mechanical issues before driving.
• Swing and secure trailer doors.
• Perform other duties as required.
