Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Regional CDL A Delivery Driver to build relationships with customers while delivering food products to regional chain restaurants. Night shifts and regional routes mean you’ll be home most nights, with 1–2 overnights each week.

You’ll unload up to 350 lbs with a two-wheeler, and operate a tractor-trailer and on-board computer. You’ll earn pay averaging $70k–$100k per year plus a guaranteed weekly minimum, with benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL license at hire.
• Able to unload cases up to 350 lbs with a two-wheeler.
• Read, write and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners and paperwork.
• Pass a DOT-mandated drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record as per DOT/GFS standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate, timely deliveries of GFS products.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and rapport.
• Process customer payments and safeguard company funds.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections.
• Maintain and operate equipment safely and report issues promptly.
• Collaborate with management and sales to address customer concerns.
