Job summary

Oakhurst is seeking a CDL-A Driver to join our transportation team, supporting our Portland, ME facility and destinations in Scarborough, Waterville, Hermon and Hooksett, NH. You will move intercompany freight and work with a collaborative team of professional drivers.

We offer a four-day work week, home-based regional operation, and a competitive pay range of $34.00–$37.00 per hour, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus after six months, paid time off, holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
• Knowledge of Hours-of-Service regulations.
• Ability to perform DOT-compliant pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Commitment to safe and professional operation.

Responsibilities

• Move and coordinate intercompany freight within our network.
• Support scheduling, routing, and operational improvements with local management.
• Maintain safe and compliant driving practices, including DOT inspections.
