Job Summary:

A Line Haul Driver (LHD) operates on a variable schedule, running trips as designated by the dispatcher based on availability. Some trips may take several days, requiring close monitoring of hours of service in accordance with DOT regulations. An LHD may not exceed 70 on-duty hours in any 8 consecutive days. After reaching this limit, a 34-hour reset period is mandatory before the next trip. Dispatchers will generally aim to have LHDs home for part of a weekend.

Keystone Freight is hiring Class A Drivers operating in California, Arizona, and Nevada.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-trip inspections
• Operate company-owned tractor-trailer trucks to transport freight
• Complete required maintenance reports before, during, and after trips
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup
• Maintain all required certifications per DOT, OSHA, and safety programs
• Keep company property in excellent condition and report any accidents immediately
• Report delays promptly to dispatch or management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A license
• Good DMV record
• No DUI within the last 5 years
• At least 1 year of recent experience or equivalent military experience
• Good stable work history
• Current DOT physical
• Must be at least 23 years old
