Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Regional Driver to join our team. This role involves longer-distance driving, potentially requiring multiple days on the road within a specific region. Our drivers enjoy regular home time and opportunities for safety bonuses for qualified individuals. The freight is no-touch, and some store deliveries involve drop and hook operations.

Pay: $0.63/Mile

Responsibilities

1. Execute timely deliveries to dedicated accounts across the region
2. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
3. Maintain accurate daily electronic logs (E-Logs)
4. Operate company-owned tractor-trailer trucks for regional freight transportation
5. Perform required vehicle maintenance and submit reports
6. Deliver exceptional customer service during pickup and delivery
7. Maintain all DOT, OSHA, and company safety certifications
8. Preserve company property in excellent condition
9. Report accidents immediately and communicate delays
10. Contribute to team operations as needed

Requirements

1. Valid Class A CDL
2. Clean driving record (MVR, CSA, previous employment)
3. Ability to pass DOT drug screening and medical requirements
4. Stable work history
5. Current DOT physical certification
6. Minimum 1 year of Class A driving or military experience
7. At least 23 years old
8. Knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
9. Proficiency in operating various vehicles safely
10. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
11. Ability to work independently and make sound judgments
12. Capability to maintain equipment safely
13. Willingness to be away from home for multiple days
14. Effective time management and route planning skills

Physical Demands

1. Extended sitting periods during long drives
2. Manual dexterity for vehicle operation
3. Occasional heavy lifting (50+ pounds)
4. High concentration and situational awareness
5. Flexibility for irregular hours and weather conditions
6. Physical ability to climb in/out of truck cabs and trailers
