Under the general supervision of the Regional Director for Administrative Services, administers and directs Business Services programs for a geographic area designated by HHSC. Employs appropriate organizational and management skills to conduct policies, procedures, and standards. Accountable for the quality of management employed in accomplishing work objectives. Performs moderately complex managerial work providing direction and guidance in strategic operations and planning. Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of others. Manages all aspects of Business Services, including facility acquisition, facility management and operations, warehouse operations, asset management, administrative contract management, the development of service level agreements and the management of the region's Safety and Incident Management Program. Develops and maintains good working relationships with internal leaders, community leaders, advisory groups, and elected officials including county judges and state legislators. Represents Regional Administrative Services (RAS) on committees and workgroups and at agency and community meetings.
High School diploma or GED is required. Experience using computers, including Microsoft Office Suite. Experience establishing goals and objectives; gathering, analyzing, and presenting statistical data; and producing statistical reports. Experience performing supervisory or managerial work, developing guidelines, procedures, and rules, and monitoring compliance with policies and procedures. Experience managing multiple projects.
Valid Class C Texas Driver's License.
