  • Provide guidance on Medicaid applications and renewals, Medicare, insurance verification, authorizations, and levels of care.
  • Support resident accounts, trust accounts, deposits, statements, adjustments, refunds, and account questions.
  • Help resolve billing, reimbursement, payer issues, and account discrepancies.
  • Support facilities with appeals and audits, ensuring accurate documentation and timely responses.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory, payer, and company requirements.
  • Keep facility teams informed of regulatory, payer, and process changes.
  • Identify trends, solve problems, and recommend opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with administrators, clinical teams, medical records, finance, and other departments.
  • Step in with hands-on assistance or temporary coverage when facility business office needs arise.
  • Protect the confidentiality of resident financial and personal information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
We're looking for someone who is:
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Comfortable working with numbers, data, and financial information
  • An effective communicator and problem solver
  • Confident providing training, coaching, and guidance
  • Customer-service focused
  • Proficient with computers, data entry, and common computer programs
  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • A team player
