Regional Business Manager, Primary Care

Position Purpose:

Reporting to the Sales Director, Primary Care, the Regional Business Manager leads the deployment of resources, activities, and investments within the designated territory to maximize the revenues and profitability of Pfizer's business.

Core Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  1. Be an integral member of the Primary Care Sales Leadership team.
  2. Deliver sales results and provide cross-functional leadership within the territory.
  3. Implement commercial strategies to increase profitability.
  4. Drive the Go-To-Market Sales Transformation by adopting IDM core standards and achieving KPI/metrics.
  5. Conduct regular coaching meetings with team members.
  6. Develop and execute a new deployment approach combining face-to-face and omnichannel strategies.
  7. Demonstrate strong business acumen and understanding of the local healthcare environment.
  8. Collaborate with Marketing and Head Office teams to align on brand strategies.
  9. Develop and implement a local business plan focusing on value generation and cost reduction.
  10. Engage with key strategic customers using a tailored customer plan.
  11. Ensure team engagement and development.
  12. Lead regional initiatives beyond the immediate geography.
  13. Generate local insights and contribute to cross-functional teams.
  14. Enhance the quality of dialogue, messaging, and targeting.
  15. Facilitate cultural evolution within the organization.
  16. Exhibit diverse leadership skills, including influence, collaboration, coaching, and oversight.
  17. Maintain 100% compliance with all commercial activities.
  18. Report adverse events and product complaints as per regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant university degree in business or sciences.
  • Proven success in sales or key account management.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of environmental trends and stakeholder networks.
  • Excellent customer management skills.
  • Experience in product management, sales training, or administration.
  • Strong strategic planning and communication skills in French and English.
  • High interpersonal skills and adaptability to change.
  • Proficiency with computer software.

The annual base salary ranges from $139,350 to $232,250 for Canada only.
