Job description

The Regional Business Director (RBD) is DBV Technologies' first-line commercial field leader, directly responsible for building and managing a team of Regional Account Managers (RAMs) who drive HCP engagement and patient starts for Viaskin, DBV's epicutaneous immunotherapy (EPIT) platform for pediatric peanut allergy. Reporting to the Executive Business Director, the RBD translates area commercial strategy into territory-level execution plans, coaches and develops RAMs to maximize performance, and serves as the primary conduit of field intelligence between the customer-facing team and senior commercial leadership.

This role is fundamentally about people leadership and flawless field execution during DBV's first commercial launch. The ideal candidate is an experienced specialty pharmaceutical or biologic sales leader with a proven track record of coaching reps to high performance, a passion for developing talent, and the operational discipline to drive consistent, compliant execution across a diverse, multi-territory region.

  • Conduct regular field rides with each RAM; deliver structured, behavioral coaching tied to observable performance indicators, and manage performance in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Identify individual RAM development needs and execute targeted development plans that accelerate competency growth and career progression.
  • Serve as a regional commercial execution leader during pre-launch and launch phases, ensuring each RAM is prepared to engage HCPs with clinical confidence and promotional compliance.
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in peanut allergy epidemiology, EPIT mechanism of action, clinical trial data, and the competitive landscape to effectively coach the team.
  • Aggregate and synthesize territory-level field intelligence from RAMs and communicate meaningful regional insights to the Area Business Director.
  • Partner with Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access Corporate Account Directors, and Patient Services to ensure RAMs receive coordinated, cross-functional support.
  • Ensure each RAM has current, actionable knowledge of payer coverage, formulary status, and prior authorization requirements, and coach RAMs to facilitate patient referrals to the Patient Services Hub.
