Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve the region's sales goals, including managing the region's first line leaders (Area Business Leaders).
  2. Direct and oversee development and implementation of strategies and tactics for achieving regional AD sales goals.
  3. Partner with relevant cross-functional departments (e.g., Marketing, HR, Sales Training, Trade, Managed Markets, Business Operations) to provide market intelligence and contribute to development of brand/business strategies.
  4. Support relevant teams (e.g., RTLLs) to shape and evolve engagement plans for regional, national, and emerging KOLs.
  5. Identify advocacy sponsorship opportunities by field sales to increase patient education and awareness of AD.
  6. Engage and influence major accounts and key customers to establish a strong organizational presence and drive sustainable growth of Eisai's AD portfolio.
  7. Monitor compliance with Eisai policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements (e.g., FDAMA 114).
  8. Provide operational oversight for the region, including budget planning, resource allocation, and compliance monitoring.
  9. Recruit, develop, train, coach, assess, motivate, and retain talent to drive team performance and growth.
Qualifications:

Regional Business Director- AD

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and 10+ years of relevant experience. Experience in the Life Sciences industry is preferred.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, med device, or capital equipment sales.
  • Experience with buy & bill, medical device, and/or biologics is strongly preferred.
  • Additional experience in sales training, marketing, managed markets, or sales analytics is preferred.
  • Experience working with healthcare ecosystems, complex accounts, and navigating the U.S. healthcare industry, including market access and reimbursement landscapes.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability in account management and cultivating extensive networks of healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience in recruiting and developing high-performing teams.

Sr. Regional Business Director- AD

  • Proven performance managing sales teams and achieving sales targets across regions.
  • Successful in leading cross-regional teams, building partnerships, and leveraging market insights.
  • Experience in coaching teams and building business networks for strategic outcomes.
