The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is the state agency that focuses solely on policies, programs, and services for people with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or any combination of these. As Georgia’s public safety net, DBHDD operates six field offices and five hospitals throughout the state within three program areas: behavioral health, developmental disabilities and hospital services.
The main office for DBHDD is located in downtown Atlanta.

Job Title: Regional Behavior Analyst Supervisor – Region 6 (Columbus, GA)

Job Summary:
Qualifications/Requirements:
Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has completed a Master’s degree in behavior analysis, education, or psychology with completion of approved BACB graduate coursework, AND 1500 hours of experience in the field with 5% of those hours being supervised by a BCBA, AND has received a passing score on the Behavior Analysis Certification Board Exam, AND has specialized training in developmental disabilities as evidenced by college coursework or practicum/internship experience OR one year of experience in providing services to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience in providing behavioral services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities;
Experience working with the dually diagnosed individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs;
Experience providing technical assistance and training;
Experience in providing staff supervision and quality assurance activities;
Knowledge of clinical best practice standards for behavioral services to individuals with developmental disabilities

Qualifications – External
Doctorate degree in a related filed from an accredited college or university AND One year of management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Two years of experience at the lower level Mgr, Hlth Care (HCM010) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions may require certification and/or licensure.
